I am a Wife and Stay at Home Mother of two living in Monona, WI.  My daughter, Acacia, is 9 going on 30!  She is every bit of me and my husband which makes for a strong-willed, stubborn, sassy yet creative, loving, sensitive little girl.  Porter is a whole other story, he is every bit of boy there can be.  At  4 he is ready for the brutal sport of hockey and will take anyone out that gets in his way.  But he is my snuggly baby boy and is totally spoiled because of it.  He too is strong-willed and stubborn but knows when I am serious!

I am also an artist, which is how I would rather define myself.  I hate feeling lost in the identity of motherhood!  I love to paint, my work has evolved into the creation of bright and cheery landscapes.  I feel an overwhelming presence of the sun and the emotions that arise when I am experiencing the warmth and beauty of its shining light.

I am also a huge fan of mid-century anything.  About two years ago I came across a large selection of 1950s magazines.  Since then I have been cutting up and creating using the images to express how I see my life in this chapter, as a wife and mother.
